Ok I finally got around to taking some more shots of my sp-rays 3 months on.
They are all going great
I do not feed black worms anymore thank god. I was going through 1kg every 2 weeks. They are now on fresh shrimp & pellets. The thing I find interesting is they all have different base colours most just lighter or darker but one is completely different as you will see (first one).
The first shots posted 2 months ago but taken about 3 months ago can be found here.http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=187657
This male is my favourite he's pattern colour changes from a real black to a dark blue at times. It was very black when this photo was taken as you can see.
This next one is the biggest male he is a real pig and plays very rough with the other kids. He has spots inside the spots starting to come out in him. I think he is going to be a nice looking ray. This male will be going to a new home very soon as he was only boarding with me till a friend got he's new ponds up & running. I wish I could keep him now that I have grown him up. I quite like the little agro dude.
This is my favourite female she is the runt of the bunch very healthy just small. At times her spots colour up real red. I think thats where they get there name from Red pearl rays. I will try to take some shots when she is coloured up soon.
This female has different markings to the rest & she is the darkest of the lot. She too will be leaving me soon with the big male.
This is the smallest male. He is starting to grow fast now as he just smashes the pellets in. Sorry about the poor shot (WB) he never stays still & thats the little female again behind him.
One more photo to come the other female soon.
