My special "5 star" Pearl pair.

Here are a very special pair of rays.I purchased these from a friend in Belgium about 18 months ago i guess,had one litter of pups and expecting another in around 30 days from now.
90% of all the pups these produce turn out the light phase,the mother must carry the stronger genes,as you can see she is much lighter than her partner,infact you couldn't get two rays of the same species to look anymore different..........thats the magic of pearls!

Here is a pic of one of their offspring,got her a few weeks before picking this pair up.she has a very light base,waiting for the pattern inbetween to develop,if it does she could end up turning into a lil Bill lookalike..not likely hey!

Here are two pups from last time,there were 4 altogether but unfortunately the male killed one before i got to them,they are now in a 12ft by 3ft wide tank with more decor so hopefully they will stay hidden,i might still put in a partition to keep the male away during the birth......worse than kids!!
