No doubt my favorite fish. C.sveni if I havent been mislead. Lots of personality, not shy at all. Bought him at 3'' 4mos ago, now hes 6.5'' and charging. Pikes rule.

Well Ill be damned!!! In the words of Steve Irwin, "shes a beauty mate!!" Thanks for the Info Mr Samurai. She is treated like royalty among my fish.
She will only eat live food. Ive started to cure my feeders for at least a week and fatten them up with hatchery trout feed. I need to get her on a pellet diet.Maybe at 8''.
Nice fish. I think they are highly underrated because they are easily obtained. Not many people keep them until adulthood which is when they really start to shine.
They are timid ,sneaky, little bastards when they are young. Not the ideal cichlid for sure when young, but they do get better with age. This one is starting to really develop alot of red on the dorsal ,tail,and caudal fins. I wish it was one of the bigger pikes like a cincta.
1managuense- 6'', 2 oscars- 9to10'', acouple of plecs 1 common 5'' and 1 royal- 6'', and a 5'' raphael cat in a 100 gal.So far all get along fine.
Awesome female sveni!! Don't see adults very often for sure! Keep her going and keep us dated!! One of the most impressive sights i've ever seen is an adult pair of sveni in a planted 125gal tank surrounded by a huge cloud of fry!! It was amazing!
