My Spoted gar grow-rate <><

My spoted gar is crazy for food.
He ate alot. Frozen fish and pellets.
But he is growing just 1'' per month
I can't push him more than this.
Is this normal ?

Looks great to me. Good looking pattern for such a young small fish. How big is it exactly? Looks like about 2-3" or so , 6-10cm. Am I close in my guess? It's great you've gotten the gar to eat foods other than only live fish. Keep us posted.

I never feed live fish.
I'm thinking this is worst thing u can feed. Disease and everything.... From first day i started training. In 2-3 days everybody broke.
Amazing fish. Looking realy great.
Just frozen fish and pelets He is 13 cm now.

Excellent. I agree completely. Good luck. Post pictures of them often. Should grow 1-2" per month for the first 6-8 months.
