I have checked out other posts and it appears that there are 3 components to an awesome dat: 1st - it is an ST, 2nd - it has an oddball pattern, 3rd - it has a full necklace. I think I got em all in one :naughty:!

My ST which is between 15-20cm long has the oddball pattern and a full necklace and I bought him for $50!!! (probably 25 US).:headbang2
Shares his tank with 3 8inch ornates, hopefully with an 8inch delhezi and a 30cm ornate later this week:nilly:
I will add a few photos after my relatives come around.

The guy I bought it off just wanted to get rid of his fish and I dont think he was aware of the species, got the ST, an indo tiger, and 2 ornates for $350 NZ :) Other people have said it looks like an ST but Ill leave it to you guys to decide - kinda inexperienced with id.

Awww well, I had another dat and it didn't look like this one at all, (wasn't american or NGT or thin bar) regular indo with thinner bars than this one and lighter colour. still good for $50

100% indo. ZERO chance of getting a 6-8 inch pulcher , let alone at that price.

100% IT but you can find pulchers at 8 ". Ivan posted his few months ago and I saw another one in person.

Sweet thanks for the Id guys, still a good bargain, I want to find a NGT here in NZ, all ive seen are indos and a couple of small americans, but would love a gar, I am able to get the Asian aros over here but I am more into the stuff you get in the US (cheaper too), asian greens are $600 NZ (about 300 US?), Jardinis are kinda rare but cost 300 NZ, RTG's cost 2000 NZ and high grades are around 4000
