So i just got done building my first fish tank stand and Ive been looking at my tank and just dont feel the same about it when i watch it. My 75 is just a growout for my pike, ck, and wolf, but lately i look at it and all you see is water because they all hide because they only care about there area. They come out to feed which they all eat from my hand but its not a fun tank to watch like i used to do early in the hobby. I dont know what i want in the hobby right now i love the fish i have right now but feel like i want fish i can see all the time but if i get rid of my fish i may feel i made a mistake down the line. You ever feel this way and what did you do?

Bought another tank :)

Try redecorating, maybe pick up some new driftwood. Hang in there, it'll come back!

I walked into a fish store and saw a lungfish and thought that would do it for me because i sold mine but i wouldnt be able to keep it with my other fish even when i put my 150 up. I thought about putting it in a large tote but went against it. Thought about redoing the tank and getting a jag as it was one of the first fish i ever owned. Im all over the place right now. I've been staring at the tank all day after a hour long cleaning of it

I know this feeling....

This is what helps me, I layer my tanks with fish that use different areas of the tank. es, top, midd, scavengers..... now if you can do this monster style, I assure that you will not have this feeling imho.

Here is my community until I save up for the mothership.

thats a sick tank. I love that because the fish are always out and oyu can watch them, but in the same aspect i love my fish i have now thats why it would be hard to trade or sell them

I got this way with Cichlids as they would always fight and kill other fish. Plecos did make it boring. Many disagree but find common goldfish as a good mid to upper fish.

I love goldfish too. They are personable, and always greet you at the "door."

Maybe you just need to get a 40 gallon and put two orandas in there...I know some people call them "girlie fish" but they are more like puppies! Who doesn't love puppies?

this guy doesn't love puppies! MONSTER FISH RAWR

for real though i feel the same way, i was pretty attached to my oscar who was more or less a petsmart rescue, but soon i'm planning on taking him to a legitimate LFS to trade him in so I can continue my bichir obsession. I was able to get his fins and scales healed up but he still has 2 little HITH spots i never was able to make go away :\
