Hey MFKers ive seen a lot of people inquiring about filtration for rays. I thought id share mine. The middle sump is a proflex 4 from aqueon with K1 moving bed run by magdrive 24 supplying 2 bio ball and matrix media DIY trickle towers. I have a marineland 1200 utility pump in each tower each running a return line to each cornerflow. I am a firm believer of using all the space you have under your tank. Very important is good mechanical filtration and heavy biological filtration. And regular water changes. If you can try and set up a direct evac line to a drain for easy water removal. Ive set it up with a turn of a valve evac and an auto top off from JBJ to keep the new water flowing in when needed. Hope this comes in handy to some. looking good. i enjoy seeing everyone's filtration wish we had a stingray filtration sticky that everyone could showcase. i have seen a few here over the years that i cant find anymore that i really liked. i think one of the best parts about keeping rays is setting up the filtration for them. everyone's is different and interesting.

thanks for posting.
