I've only had her for 3 weeks my water is
nitrite 0
nitrate 5
ammonia 0
ph 6.4
water temp 79F
soft water

She gets excited when i feed her hikari massivore pellets but then heads back to her corner. She has no tank mates (left that is)

she is a marble motor stingray, in the picture she also hangs out on the side of the glass too and thats the corner right behind her

Seems a bit odd but doubt you need to worry, maybe give her fine sand and I expect she will bury. My marble likes to bury quite a bit but as she gets older she does it more and more, maybe she doesn't like our current substrate.

Agree: I was going to say may be your substrate, that looks like "Black Beauty" to me which is sold in some pet store around here as a substrate. It's really just an abrasive for use in stripping metal. It's not super sharp but could be irritating her. I'd replace it.
