i'v bought a stingray (6 inch disk size) 3 days back. for past two days it was in a 50 gallon tank. These days i was preparing a 150 gal tank for him. it will be about 36 hours back i prepared my new tank for stingray. after 1 day of filtering the watter to settle down the tank 3 hours back i introduced my stingray into the new tank. but at the very beginning it hides himself in the sank for some minutes then started to explore the tank. then after few minutes he started to swim upside down and tries to jump over the tank. the good news probably is that he is still having food, 10 minutes back i gave it 3 little shrimp and it did have those foods. after having the food, upside down behavior has decreased a little bit. but it's still happening.
these are my early days with stingrays, so i'm big tensed. anyone can help me by letting me know what is happening with my ray???
* is it because of my water problem?
* or its just that my rays is settling in the new tank?
