I took a picture of one of my longear sunfish last night. They're about 2 months old now and about an inch and a half long. I also included a picture I took when I got them in April from Jonah's aquarium. They were tiny and are still pretty small, but they're getting some color, ears, and they sure eat a lot!

I have one just like it, looks great!

Wow, that is tiny. Enjoy watching him grow, they are great fish. I have one myself.

That is one tiny guy. I have a newfound love for sunfish ever since I got mine. Good luck with yours and have fun.

Looks like they are coming along nicely! What do you feed them when they are that small?

I've been primarily feeding them Hikari micro pellets - I've never seen fish eat more greedily! They also happen to be the friendliest fish I've ever had. If I'm in the room, they're front and center watching me.

Sunfish are very curious fish, and instead of swimming to the front of the tank like oscars and stuff mine would stay where they were and watch me...it was almost kind of wierd lol
