Here is a few pics. Still som fin wounds and one side of his gill is still curled but eating well and doing quite well. The flash however totally drowns his color out

No that is just a reflection from another tank.......;)

There is a FRT but I know the risk

No she is from "she look red".

I got her from a guy in Edmonton who had her due to the fact that the previous owner did not look after it, hence the gill curl and other traits.

First arrow, but will not be my last.

I will still strongly recommend you get some professional to trim away that gill curl. It's affecting the harder part of the gillplate already and that's one area you cant rectify later.

But that's not the end of the story. If the water the fish is staying is still not acceptable, the grown back soft membrane will still curl.

And turtle spoil water much faster then you think they dun. Water look clear but the water parameter is not ideal for fish.
