my tank and need some inputs

ok i have 2 oscars 1 severum ( the one i need input on ) and a pair of cons ( divided but soon to get rid of the female so i only have 1 male ) for cichlids and about to get 2 firemouths to fishish my stock. ok my sev hides alot so i took her hiding spot out so she can swim around more, theres no aggression with my sev or oscars, just wondering why she hides alot? i really like her! and want her to grow up healthy, so any inputs?

and my final stocking will be for my tank:

2 oscars
2 firemouths ( not a mating pair )
1 sev
1 male con.

thats all for my fish and not adding anymore.

so any help with my sev? my oscars act well like most oscars, hungry all the time and never shy. my sev is about 3.5 inches.

and for some reason the sev likes being by my male convict ( the con trys to bit through the divider but the sev just stays there looking at him ) and the sev is for a fact a female to. ( no squiggle marks on face )

edit, also to add. when the male con trys to get by the sev, the female con attacks him ( and he acts like shes not even bother him to )

wow just cleaned the tank and got spooked by my pleco.... scared the crap outa me! attacked me when i was cleaning the glass..... GO PLECO lol

what size tank is this, all one tank? and what are you asking for advice on? Seems like if the sevrum liked hiding that's probably where it was comfortable. Sometimes our want to see our fish more doesn't really meet the needs of the fish itself
