my tank concept

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i guess the first question that i would ask is .. why? so much hassle and potential problems .. just seems like soo sooo soooooo much work .. and all for what?

While I would say that would be a neat design it won't work. Air circulating in the tank will accumulate in the top and allow the water to drain out (and all over the floor). And that's assuming the vacuum caused by the downward pressure of the water doesn't break the top anyway. You would be better off to seal the bottom section and leave the tall side open.

there is a tank like this. you would constantly have to extract air from the top to keep the suction.

But i seen a tank like this on here before

It works. There are plenty of examples of this type of tank in operation on the interwebs.

There are some aweseom tanks prebuilt and on youtube of this design. Very eye catching but not the best in design...

it does work, look up upside down aqaurium on youtube, it works

Cool but seems alot of work for not much payback if you know what i mean.
