hey i just wanted to share a few pics of my tank its not finished yet but close
i only have 1 moto but i plan to get a female around x-mas
the tank is approx 1440 lts
with a big wet/dry filter and a canister as well
there are also
a green aro
few clown loach
1 geo
ghost knife
and i sailfin gibby

good stuff they should be very happier in there!

maybe get lighter colour gravel (if you can be botherd) to make the ray stand out more?
how big is that tank like an 8x3x3 or something?
 
Very nice! i think that that set up would look better with sand so that the ray stands out
 
Thanks i wanted sand but becouse the canister is plumbed in the bottom of the tank every time the ray stirs it up it would go into the filter

The tank is a weird size it is

77inch long or 6ft 5 1/2 inch
31 inch high or just over 2 1/2 ft
38 1/2 wide or 3ft 2 1/2 inch

if it was filled to the top (it never can becouse of the weir )if would be 1446 lts
how many gallons is that ???
 
taht seams a bit odd to have the the base to the canister?
what if the seal brakes or something :S

does teh canister even need to be on? with all that water presure behind it?
I can see it being good at sucking all the rays waste up, since its at teh base of the tank already.
