Here is my 135 gal tank. in it are 6 gold severums (3inch) 2 Uaru A.(1.5 inch) and 7 otocinclus cats(1.5inch) The tank has been running for 2 months ans was an upgrade from a 75gal. the filtration is a fluval 404(340gph) and a jebo 838(315gph) and a 300watt heater. the lighting is 3 20watt 24inch full spec. bulbs and 2 18inch 15watt actinics. The reason i post as i dont have many people that come over and see it that know anything about fish. what i am looking for is some constructive criticism or things that i could or should add(fish,filters,ect..) thanks...enjoy!! the pics are not the best.

I suggest a background for it. Go to the store and get poster board, super cheap, and easy.

I like the simple layout, the driftwood looks nice.

Odd looking stand, but I'm sure it doesn't have any issues holding the weight.

I like the simplicity. Take good care of the uaru, they are awesome when big!!!

maybe I missed it, but by scanning, I didn't see how/what the stand is done?

The red in the first pic is outstanding. Great fish.

Looks great! Nice tank you have there. Just one thing though, when the severums and uaru get bigger they will eat your otos.

hear is a pic of the stand befor i covered it to give an idea of the frame. The stand is a basic 2x4 pine frame. I wrapped it in what was called cottage pine. i built it as cheap as possible but to look at least presentable until i have a friend who is a cabnet maker build me one for. but thats not until the winter, so this is what i was able to come up with. As for the background, i had it painted black, but i removed it as it made the tank appear cloudy and too dark. now that its removed, i added the 2 actinic bulbs on to the back lip of the tank. they dont shine down into the tank, but behind it. when they are on by them selves it is very nice. i dont have a pic of that yet but will get one. thanks for the replys, are there any more?? oh, i was thinking about adding some corys or loaches. but i notice that loaches are very active and almost aggressive..is this correct?? im trying to avoid an aggressive tank.
