I need help . I have a 55 gallon tank . In my tank I have two gold severums , one green/striped severum , one jelly bean parrot , two silver dollars , three blue paradise , one gold gourami and one opaline gourami . I've also had a small pleco which I cant find so it leads me to think he's been eaten . Everyone has been in my tank since January peacefully since there where babies . I've notices the green severum to grow faster than the others and he chases around my two gold severums causing them to hide and behave kind of skittish . What should I do ?

I would remove the green sev and not replace him. Your not gonna have room for all those fish as it is once they grow out.

Can this also mean their mating ? I've notied only one out of my two gold severums do this mouth to mouth thing with my green severum .

Taking out the green sev may not necessarily resolve your territorial issue. Once the green sev is removed, you could still potentially havel territorial issue with the 2 remaining sevs......just cichlids being cichlids. As long as there are no noticeable damages to the submissive parties and they are getting food, I would let the hierarchy work itself out.

I do agree that adding several tall plants will really help.
