5 hours to to clean. Had to move all the fish to the bath tub. What a morning. The sealant on the tank are gone causing the leak

My old metaframe sprung the other day and I had to relocate my cichla growouts....luckily the tank wasn't as big as you guy's tanks.

Same thing happened to me a few years back causing 5 grand in damages. Oscaroo not everyone can afford new tanks. Some of us work for a living and dont get everything from mom and dad. Some of us are ablento reseal and repair things. Ive resealed tanks plenty of times. Good luck and let us know how the repairs go

This is the main reason I moved my 220 & 280 to the garage. I can't imagine how to deal with something like this. A 55 would be the biggest I'll have inside the house. Good luck & keep us updated.

I thought acrylic tanks aren't suppose to leak.

I guess I'll just buy glass forever. Half the price.

That sucks! If you have aquariums it's always in the back of your mind if one will spring a leak....

I would buy a new one as well for a tank this size.... and I do work for a living... own my home... pay for the kids braces.... etc.etc.etc.... I don't get anything from "mom and dad"......
