Shocking.
Feeding live fish is bad enough, but to Malwais?
And then there is the setup.
Shocking.

first off the feeders are for the catfish and fish eat other fish in the wild so i dont see the problem. I think my setup is good only thing i am missing is all the rock which are orderd and otw. I wanted my tank to have more than just mbuna so i put my electric catfish in there and i am happy as can be and so are they. Tips on this is always appericated but rudeness its not. Thank you

The feeders are for my electric catfish the mbuna dont eat the fish only the pellets i give them. its a 30 gallon with 5 fish total excluding the feeders. I have a 50 gallon thats in the cycle process now that they will be moved to when i get more fish.

The pics. didn't work, re-load.

The live rock you speak of, any pics. of that and price/pound?

Live rock?

Live rock is for saltwater. Do you mean lace rock?

Anyway if the feeders are small enough there is nothing stopping the mbuna from eating them. Also I sure hope those feeders were quarantined first. If they came from the lfs they could be carrying a lot of diseases. On the other side what is to stop your catfish from eating your mbuna?

ya i orderd a mix 2 piece lace,2 piece lava rock 6$ for 3 pound pieces. I found a very good local pet store and the guy actually knew what i was talking about (so long petland and petco). This guy fish look extremely healthy every tank was clear no ich or anything. I got 2 of the lace rocks today and the fish seem to love it like they knew what it was lol. The electric catfish is still small and cannot eat the mbuna, they all get along well actually, they go half way in his home just to look at him and leave. I have caught my biggest fish (yellow lab) and it chilling under a rock late at night. And ya i have a 5 gallon where i keep my feeders before putting them in my main tank.

nope dont treat the feeders just keep them for 5 days before i feed to check for ich and such. currently they are in a 30 gallon 36x18x12 something like that and only 4 mbuna plus electric catfish oh and 1 wood shrimp to clean up
