Ty guys, I really like it. I want to change the lights. I used a 'power glow or a aqua glow' on my 55 and it REALLY brings out the color of my fish, namely my jack dep, but not sure if it would on my reds.
not sure if the powerhead counts, i dont count it when i add up the gph to turn over my water. Ive been eyeing the AquaClear 110 Power Filter we have at work that goes 500gph but not sure if i have enough room on my tank. how much filtration should i have? Any tips on a good clean up crew for the bottom? i added 1 crayfish today that came in with the goldfish at work. i thought it would do ok and if they ate it, more power to em.
JUST looked up the size of the AquaClear 110 Power Filter and its 13.5inches and i have room for 2 of them on the right hand side if i replace my old topfin
the more filtration the better (jmo) 10x the turn over is the general rule two aq 110 would be cool with what you have as well a canister would be goods as well and won't take up much space
how are you water parameters? as long as they are in check even after a big feeding then i don't think there's need to add more filters. JMO. a wet/dry can replace all those filters. and DIY is cheap
