I honestly didn't know where to put this thread, but as I have a ck and a royal knife in the tank, I decided this would be the next best place...

Within the last few days I've noticed stuff growing on the inside of my tank. I initially dismissed it as algae that my pleco had missed. On closer inspection though, I realized that they seem to be worms of some sort. They are no longer than 4mm and maybe 1/4 to 1/2 mm thick/wide. It's like I have a whole colony of these worms and have no clue how they got there or what to do about them.
Will they harm my fish? Should I leave them alone? Should I treat my tank to get rid of them and if so what treatment would be the best to use? There are only 4 occupants in the tank, the ck, rk, pleco, and tsnXrtc.

Any comments/suggestions/ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

dont worry, the worms are a result of an exess of food for them. i dont remember what their called but they live in the gravel at all times. when there is an exess amount of food they multiply rapidly and consume the tank. i ran into this problem before and i started feeding my fish less and did more gravel cleaning and they went away. they are harmless to the fish and i dont believe any treatment will get rid of them.
