Tanks and fish look great! I love discus, but have never taken the dive myself. They probably wont do good in my high ph/hard water, so have shifted the fish I keep to cantrals.

Welcome to MFK! The decor and fish look great. I would say just either paint the back side of the tanks a solid color or use a background to hide the cords and show off the colors of the fish.

I was thinking of a background but unsure if white or black with the discus. Any suggestions?

Personally, I would go with black or dark blue.
