Nice tegu and tort.
Awesome Eclectus too!
I almost bought an Eclectus a couple years ago but went with a Yellow-Collared Macaw.

Mini macs are wonderful! I like the severe, but i hear they are very stubborn birds.

Thanks for the comment. She was 3 when we got her, and had some bad habits, but shes coming around nicely.

When i am out of college and have a "real" life, i plan on a blue and gold macaw as a gift to myself :D

Nice Tegu! I miss mine so much. They got too big for where I was living at the time. I donated them to the Everglades Outpost... I wish I still had them now. I have plenty of room. They are incredible.

Beautifull female eclectus:D Tegus and sulcatas are owesame as well. You could combine them in a outdoor enclosure big enough for both;) They both like dry grasslands and being cb means that there wouldnt be any desiase transmicion risk

They can be pretty stubborn. Mine was hand raised by the owner of a local pet store, an was a year old when I got him. He used to have a really good attitude, but now he pretty much just does what he wants, and doesn't enjoy being held or sitting with people. Although if theres anyone eating food and he can see it, he's your best friend.
Pretty much just like a temperamental child, but I would never get rid of him!

Tegus require much more humidity that a sulcata, 60-70% at least..
I don't know where you got that Tegu's live in dry grasslands. The jungles of Argentina are by no means dry grasslands.

Yeah, gu's require humidity. But when i set up the big outdoor pen for my tort in a few years, i will definitely make it so the tegu can hang out with him and soak up the UV a few hours a day!
Otherwise im looking at buying a 8x3x3 boamaster for the tegu. Gonna shell out some good cash for that bad boy.

As for the eclectus, she is very independent as well. Always quiet, unless you take her dishes away! :nilly: I let her sit with us at the table occasionally and she will just sit preening hersell indifferently. If there is something she wants to eat on the table however, she will waddle over slowly and stealthily, wait until you arent looking, and then steal it. Its hilarious.
Eclectus arent know for being cuddly birds, but conures and macaws are supposed to be very loving and playful. Not much in the speech department for the macs though. Ekkies have been said to be smarter than greys. Ruby knows about 20 words.

great pic, all three are beautiful
