My Tetracanthus, Fidel.

Here's an update on my Cuban, Fidel. I just lost the female to this pair so he is solo at the moment. So far he hasn't lost his parental instincts and is doing a fine job raising his fry without his mate, however I do intend on separating him from the fry before long.

Thanks fellas. I'm bummed about the female also but at least there are two batches of fry from this pair growing up. Hopefully he bonds easily with another mate and continues to pass on his genes.

Nice looking cuban. How big is he?

Thanks, I've had him for about six months give or take. He was a solid 3.5 inches at the time and I'd say he's about 7" now. The female was about 4".
