Hello,
i have a Polypterus teugelsi since December last year. He's a male and about 19 inches long. In difference to the first description by Ralf Britz (absurdly made from photos of dead individuals) teugelsi has not black but brownishpectoral fins and will grow up to 25 inches! Teugelsi is a really active polypterid, especially at night.
Pics from Polypterus teugelsi are very rare ... so i will do my contribution to change this situation a bit. Some of the pics are posted in other threads, some are new - but as a matter of form they are all here now ...
