I should be able to free up a 4x2x2 when i move some fish around and i'm thinking of setting it up just for Texas cichlids, (Green texas) I've got a nice 5" male and 3 females, i have a friends who says i can have 10 females. I'm gonna make loads of caves from slate, cobbles and bogwood. I think it will look great. No catfish or other fish. I'll update as i go along, i will probably be moving stuff around by the weekend. And if they pair up or grow too big i've got
a
48x30x24
4x2x2
6x2x2
aswell to move them into

I have a buddy who has a 6' - 150 Gallon with 6 Carpinte in there, it's 2 males and 4 females and at first i thought "No way this is gonna work" well now it's a year later the fish have grown a lot and are happy as hell and throw a batch of fry every few months......It's a fantastic sight to see, as I am a HUGE Texas fan!

It really is a great idea!, IF I had a second (3rd really) 6' tank, that would be the way I go!

Good Luck!

PICS! PICS! PICS!

:D

I think that sounds like a sweet plan. Update us with pics bro!

Well when i get beack from school tonight i'll put up some pics of me moving my oscars. I really love Texas cichlids, And they aren't too agressive.
