My thanks to the MFK staff

Hello; A bit over two weeks ago I was told some of the MFK staff had asked that I be given the opportunity to be removed from probation (being pink) and become blue again. At this point I do not know how many of the staff voted for me nor which individuals of the staff were in favor of this. Apparently a sufficient number did so. I wish to thank those who made this happen.
If any of the staff are willing I would like to converse with you. Perhaps in a PM conversation.

I can imagine a possible benefit from a conversation with those who voted against me as well. Feel free. If you have issues with me, maybe we can put it behind us.

Hello; It has been a few days and so far no response from any staff in a PM or on the open forum. Perhaps a similar invitation to any ordinary members same as myself. Maybe In either a private conversation or here in the open. I recently had such a private conversation with a regular forum member which went well. I invite a civil discussion.

Skj, you did your time beautifully in my opinion, I did not see you say anything that would have given anyone reason to keep you on probation longer than necessary. I believe that the past is the past and I see no reason for you to be viewed differently for having been on probation, welcome back to normal membership comrade, I am glad to see you back .

Hello; In an effort to gain a better understanding a part of this thread was to get some feedback. I had hoped to ask some questions in PM conversations mostly with the staff. It is a few days now with no replies from the staff. I seek some guidance now on the open forum.
Back some months ago before I was made pink some new rules were scheduled to go into place about the avatars we could use. I know the rules are currently relaxed so please think of this in terms of the rules back then.
The image which is my avatar today is the one I changed to back in August. (Note - I do not plan to use it in the future and will change it soon. I just needed to display that image so I can ask a questions about it and perhaps avoid problems.)
Back when I changed to this image it was deleted within a day or so by one of the Mods. The reason given was a member had reported the image calling it a "burning fish". I sent a PM message to that mod asking what "burning fish" meant but never got an answer. I was put on probation soon after.
My question basically is what was wrong with this image according to the rules back then. I am not planning to continue to use this image and will change it soon. I had tried to be in compliance with the rule back then. I made the change before the deadline. It is an image of a male betta.

I don't see any issue with the red, white and blue Betta in your avatar that I am seeing today.

The only thing I know about Staff and infractions is that they are dealt with behind the scenes from reading about it in forums.

Hello; Yes it is the same image I used back then. A male betta in full display. Back at the time we were instructed to use an image of an aquarium fish. I picked a very common fish. A fish I have kept many times over the decades.

I did try to deal behind the scenes at the time with the mod who deleted the image in a PM. No answer then or further answer as to what being a "burning fish" meant since. I have thought of a few possible things but they are so far only guesses.

I was trying to be within the rules back then and thought I was with this image. It was deleted very quickly so there must have been a problem I can only so far guess about. I did not understand the "burning fish" reference which appeared to be the basis of the complaint by another member. Not understanding the problem for sure I decided to seek some clarification. Maybe I can avoid problems now that I am back.
