My Thinbars/NTT's

Sold my 12" Silver Dat yesterday-I'm slowly thinning the tank down and started with the Silver. The 2 NTT's have been much more active today as a result. I also added some fine gravel (tank was BBbefore).

Interesting as I never noticed the Silver bullying them but he was slightly bigger than the largest NTT (11"). I'll be interested to see if the NTT now get a growth spurt-the Silver did use to eat alot of food and was aggressive at feeding times. I wonder too if the smaller Indo's will also grow quicker.

nice ntt i have 2 at 9-10" in with a bunch of other giant datnoids . my 20" indo use the ntt as a pillow to sleep/lean on xD i do think that massivore really make dats grow though .

Thanks for the comments people. Yes the Indo is nice-the smallest fish in the tank at 4" but always stable and has a lovely cream base to it. Hes always out the front of the tank. The only minus is it won't eat pellets so growth is slow. The other one I bought at the same time/size is 6" and eats anything.
Ideally they all need to upgrade to a bigger tank (180G +) but with our plans for next year this won't happen.
