Just alittle updated tank picture, decided to try out some leaves on the bottom taking a cue from Stanzzzz7 I’m also considering some thin banches. The lily pads I planted are growing like weeds, however the different grasses (please forgive my ignorance on plant names) I planted are just kind of not dying. Rather then growing. Probably Not getting enough light, I will tweak that abit. Everyone is doing well, I’ve noticed the Aureus have taken on more gold coloring since I added the leaves. Enjoying the tannins I suspect.

Looks very nice.
I like the addition of the leaves,always makes a tank look more natural .
The lotus lily is a great plant and grow so fast once they take hold.
Tanks looking good though mate.keep updating.

Thanks, I’m gonna play around with hiding the sponge filter better and my heaters. Also mess with the lighting hopefully I can get the long grass to grow alittle better. So it’s still a work in progress but hey I am loving the little guys so far. Their definitely slow growers, but full of personality.

I have a 4ft beamswork LED I’m actually considering getting another one. Their dirt cheap on amazon. So far so good I haven’t had any trouble.
