They are in the family of ripsaws but only grow to 7''

Nice. Did you get them from wetspot? I've heard they're really active - has that been your experience? I've been thinking about getting some for me next tank.

Nope, I got them from Scales and Tails. Yes they are very active. I really recommend them. Awesome mini niger armored catfish. Eat everything and cruise around the tank even with the lights on. I love them. Keeping them for life.
