I just buy this fish from a friend . Size is 12 inches . I always love Tiger rays but heard that it's difficult to maintain. Has anyone got any suggestion for me ? How to feed ? Tomorrow i will be taking this guy to my house. Love MFK

I have been keeping differences kinds of rays but never for Tiger. Is there any special thing to do ?

They are pretty strict eaters all they like are large worms or g-fish and if your very lucky maybe shrimp. So recommend you go get some night crawlers and power feed until you feel that the rays are comfy.
I have just got him today but seller said. For the first 3 days up to 1 week. There is no need to feed him . As tiger ray is not going to eat for first few day. And do not use even salt as Tiger is allergic to . Is it true ? I have run water with some black water inside for 3 days now and reduce water half tank . No salt or any other medical . I have an intention to leave him with no light for few day until he gets better. Please let me know if there is any mistake.
