not sure if this is the right place to post this but o well here goes
my tiger shovelnose catfish has a bloody eye ball which i beleive is from a injury the eye itself is red all around and looks like its filled with blood, i need some good advice and or information on this injury.
the tiger shovelnose catfish is about 7-8 inches long and is housed with 2 peacock bass 4-5 inches long and a jaguar cichlid 5 inches long, my tank is 180 gallons 6x2x2 with 2 filters running at the same time a overhead filter and a canister both pumping 300 gallons of water an hour, 2 shock prove heaters with a water temp of 82, 2 36 inch T-5 lights my tank is planted with live plants with also 2 air pumps providing 220 gallons of air..,my PH is 7.4
the tank has also been setup with these fish or over 6 months.so please if you have any good advice or information for my catfish and his eye injury it would be much thanks, will the eye ball heal overtime and the eye will be normal again?? or is this a problem that cannot be fixed?
