Well he is just a common toad. But here is my story of how he came along.
Everyday me or my father go out and fill the dogs food bowl up. For the past 3 weeks we have noticed a toad sitting in their food dish. we just poor the food around him and the dogs eat with him right at their noses. so i decided one morning to take him out to the yard. i set him down and started my walk back. i was seeing how much the dogs had ate. and the next thing i know is this toad is right next to me. just sitting there. so i just go inside then go to school. i come home and he is just sitting in their food bowl again. so i decide why not use my empty ten gallon for him. I set the ten gallon up with peat 4 or so inches. and get him a bathing dish/ water bowl. put some CANA leaves for him to hide under. and since he normally eats the bugs from outside. i just gave him crickets and grasshoppers i find.
Do common toads need UV? thats my main question.
and i will post some pics of him soon...
