So my buddy dropped this off for me last weekend, said it would be better suited in my household. He is my first lizard, and would appreciate any advice. His tank (currently 10gal upgrading to 40 soon) is about 75 degrees F on the cool side of the tank. I'm running a night time heat lamp 24 hrs a day, misting his plants and substrate daily. feeding meal worms every other day. Without further ado, meet Spike!photo(11).JPGphoto(12).JPG

he looks kinda skinny, and to my untrained eye, female. though i could be wrong

Pinkies are great for fattening them up, but it looks good now. You can raise mealworms easily check out some sites. Look up how to tell sex. I used to raise leopard geckos and it was easy to sex them. Also big tanks arent always necessary. It sometimes makes it harder to heat it.

Thanks everyone for the input! I thought he/she looked skinny as well... a few weeks of TLC and hopefully I can remedy that.
