Got a rtc couple of days ago that completes my:headbang2 trifecta of monster cats :headbang2.1 tsn, 1 rtsn hybrid, 1 rtc. They are all around the same size tsn and rtsn are 4" and rtc is 3" . I would like to have 1 more that is just fascinating to me a tigrinium.I do not know if it would be possible to keep one with my current stock as I do not know much about them .Red what they have on planet catfish and it seems it might have a shot with these three at full grown but not sure their growth rate.Any experience would be greatly appreciated I would hate to have a 200+$ feeder....I am currently preparing a 550-600 gallon round tank for them up to the 3 foot mark then will be transfered in to a 1000+ gallon round indoor pond for the remainder;)Comments welcome the depth of the tanks will be 35" and diameter is around 6 foot for the 5-6 and 7-8 foot for the 1k.

ehhhhh its hard to say you would need a big tig for it not be get eaten and even when adult it may have proublems getting them to grow togeather would be hard you would need as big of a tig as you could get and watch the TSN also and the hybrid RTC grow fast and will eat anouther catfish
and i think 8 feet is a little small for those big guys

8 foot round diameter is better than a 8x4x4 square tank.

If 8 foot round is to small then what do you suggest and not the old out door pond reply I think an 8 foot diameter by 35 in tall with a 1800 gph pump circulating the water inside the tank only would give them plenty of space they are not the most active fish most of the time. And heck by the time they got big enough to out grow the 5-600 gallon ( They are currently 3 and 4 " respectively) I would already have had the 1k tank ready .

I replied to your question in the other thread. But to recap, I would get a tig around a foot to begin with if you want it to have a chance. Either that or grow it out seperately. The 1100 gallon pond that I run is a 10ft diameter but if you needed more space they make 12, 15, and 18ft models also. The 12ft+ are 42-48" deep I think and the really big ones are 60" if I remember correctly

Cool thanks can you pm me the info on the place that has these??
