Alright so I recently ordered some Triops Cancriformis eggs and I have already set up the tank :grinno:. It is 2.5g, specs as follows
Lighting
-36w Flourescent lighting
Heating
-50w Jager heater
Water
-Poland Springs Water: 75ºF
Decor
-Extremely fine quartz sand
-River rocks

Here is a picture of the tank, when my eggs arrive I will drain 3/4 of the water and place the heater on the bottom. For now I'm running a filter with activated carbon only to fill up the water and remove any impurities there may be.

I will try to update this as much as I can... if you have any questions feel free to ask!

like, dinosaur triops?
I loved having those things when I was a kid, especially watching them eat each other and playing tag with them.

did this they dont live long even with clean water and food but they do try to leave eggs behind would love to see if they do with u tho

cool, I kept Triops longicaudatis(sp?).
They lived for a couple months in a 10 gallon and laid eggs in the sand. I dried out the eggs so I could hatch them again but I lost 'em. Isnt Triops canciformis bigger?

Yes, I believe they do get bigger...

don't the eggs hatch anyway? I have some and thought they were self perpetuating.

I haven't started yet, but was hoping I didn't have to go through the entire cycle again once they laid the eggs.
