SO i have been looking for quite the while for a large female festae. A member on here Mya, suggested I go to a place called Riverdale Pets in Washington DC. Well, DC is about 2 and a half hours from my house, just south of Richmond VA. I decided to make the drive after talking to the owner and he assured me he would have some. When I walked into the door I was amazed at the quite large dovii, citrinellums, red tiger motas, atromaculatus, and MUCH more. This place had LOTS of 5-13" festae, wild from Ecuador. I picked out the most fantastic looking male and female and gawked around at some other cool fish they had. GREAT trip (until i headed home, that 2.5 hour trip was 5 hours in traffic.) but WELL worth the trip. I think its pretty ironic that festae are hard to collect from the wild, and it was pretty difficult for ME to collect them from an out of state LFS :) the pictures do not do them justice.
