Finally got around to uploading pictures, thought i should let you guys know waht the trip really was about
A minister from my church was originally in the peace core working in guayaquil and wanted other people to experience what she had so when she came to our church she started this program where people could live with a family in the barrio and help build a house for someone ( concrete tin roof) a major upgrade over a bamboo home

i had 10 people in my family 4 bed rooms

the mother laura was divorced and had 6 children, one who i never met and was in his mid twenties, laura mid twenties had one child rolando and had twin boys on the way, daniel and ramon which i think are twins in there early twenties, jofre who was my age and andrea who was a year younger than me and had a 3 yr old child
if you have any questions please fire away

Wow, I bet that was a great experience for you. Makes you appreciate what you have. My mom helps out every year at an orphanage in Jamaica. She always has great stories to tell when she returns.

yea it makes yo appreciate what you have for sure, but at the same time makes you wonder why we need all these commodities to live. when i was a kid i couldnt fit all my stuff in my closet and these kids can fit all there toys easily in the pockets, maybe if they have alot a shoebox fill

next year i am deffinitely going back and might do an internship tutoring at for the organization when im in college

guinea pig, when we drove to cuenca in the mtns, before we flew back to the states
