My true texas cichlids growout thread

Started my first thread about a week ago , had posted a pic of my texas cichlid tank wanted to start a new one that I plan to keep updated as they grow. Sorry my pictures arent the best ,having to do this on my phone atm. Got these from a member here , really awesome fish

Couldnt get them to stay still. They just got some finely chopped shrimp with hikari micro bits mixed up in it, so they were pretty excited

Is this thread in the right place or does it need to be moved?

This is good. Maybe better in CA/SA cichlids.

Thank you very much Deadeye only got 3 tanks up atm but it's my favorite one I've setup to date, I'm still new to this forum thing sorry if this comes off a real newbie question but how do I move this to ca/sa cichlids? Do I just delete and restart it

I love Texas cichlids, I had one for a short time but it definitely had the best personality out of all my cichlids but my parrot.

Much appreciated Deadeye! They have most definitely got some personality my favorite fish I've kept so far, this is my first go at bigger cichlids really happy with them kept mainly sunfish species before mostly greens really awesome fish as well. Ive always wanted a blood parrot , it's on my one day list with several other species... you all know how this hobby goes cant just have one tank ?

I'll have updates on the cichlids when I get off work today or tomorrow. Spoiler alert the biggest has went crazy lol bullying worse than ever. 2 of the 6 haven't grown much at all think that had something to do with it. Biggest one turned black and blue spots got really bright when it was hanging around with 2nd biggest one didn't get a pic before it changed color tho
