The albinos sens are around 6-7". I havent got to measure the ornate first. He/She very seldomly goes to the side of the tank for me to measure.

Awww yeah that's one good albino. They are getting big. I have one right now who is pushing 4 inches lol.

I read in the stickies that you can already tell their gender by their anal fin at 7" so i think they're female. both of my albinos.

i also heard that most albinos get stuck at 7"

Anal fin width is one way but some are forgive the analogy "showers" and some are "growers". The bulge at the base of the fin is more important. That's the muscle that allows the cupping action to hold the eggs during the fertilization.

That's not very true as I have seen 2-3" senegals with fully developed male anal fins.
