Nice. Miss my ngt, just don't miss the fact he wanted to end the life of my other dats twice his size. Driftwood question must be a trick one. I'll take the tank on right

does driftwood make em that dark like that ?

The driftwood was just kind of a joke because the tank on the left has waaay more tannins then the one on the right. I'll be adding more wood to the tank on the left and see how it affects the smaller NGT, though my belief is that they're just like every other datnoid and stability could be a result of several possible factors.

i like ngt's. how much did they cost you?

$70 for the one on the left, it was about 6.5" at the time though it was blind in one eye and the other was very damaged but it has improved about as much as it's going to at this point. $130 I believe for the one on the right, it was about 5" at the time and I got it for a very good discount because I worked at the shop at the time. Both came from retail shops the blind as a trade in and the smaller I had ordered and I think I'm very lucky to have them both.

Cool NGT. I have (had) 2 raised in the same tank from 4" to 7.5". One on each side minding it's own business. But...... the bulkier of the two was giving the other a beat down periodically one day out of nowhere. Separated, then introduced several times thinking the bully will change his mind or forget (:D) . But nope........

Try brighter lighting as they'll get use to it (full spectrum lighting). Works for both of my NGT in separate tanks.
