Thanks guys.They are some real hissers lol.The bigger one seems to have the edges of the back of it's shell curling upward.Does anyone know what is going on with that?
My g/f has a red eared cooter and she said that if the shell starts to curl up they are not getting enough vitamin D or sunlight. You can place the tank by a window or get them a UV light to help that out. Hope this helps.
Do not place the tank by a window. The beneficial parts of the rays can not pass through the glass and will over heat the enclosure quickly. You best bet is placing them in outside pens for portions of the day when it is warm or using UVB lighting.
