My Umbee growth

My umbee at 2" on October 1st

Umbee at 5" December 5th.

Can anyone of you tell the sex at this size? Im thinking its a male.

Yeah I think it's a male too. But best not to be too sure just yet. Thats certainly a nice looking fish. It's funny how a fish could look so ugly when young but look awesome when they're older.

thats a nice looking umbee. possibly a male but hell, i can't even sex mine yet and they are around the same size!!

I feed him hikari food sticks, shrimp, and krill. On occasion small earth worms. Mainly the food sticks tho. He loves it.

I'll update this thread in another month with growth status.

wow so they grow pretty quick. I have about 9 umbie fry. they are about an 1in. cant wait to see some results.
