Im either thinking of 96 by 36 by 36(l*W*h) which is 539 gallons or 84 by 48 by 30 which is 523 gallons. What you think is better? What other tankmates could go in(already have arrow)?

personally i just prefer the long tanks.the 9x3x3 works for me,would suffice a good selection of rays.but if you are going to house the larger rays i would do the wider tank.

I dont think you would want a 3' high tank, it will be very hard to maintain. My tank is 31" high on a 2ft stand and at 6'1" it is hard to to get the very back of the tank...

if you have the space I would do, 96x48x24.

Yeah, 8x4x2 would be better than the first two.

wouldnt the 2 feet high be to low for an arow and then the rays on bottom?

not really, since they would have the extra foot in width.

So a 96 by 48 by 24 would be how many gallons? How much do you think it will weigh? It would be on concrete. Be theres mesh at the bottom so if it broke that...

lol it will be the same as your 96x36x36 :D 36-12=24 36+12=48 :D =P
