He's been living in that tank for that long as well He's happy in there. It might look small, but its dimension is about 2.5m x 70cm x 50cm

Beautiful fish! 16 years is a long time for a fish to live in captivity, a fish doesn't get to be 16 years old in a home tank if its not happy or treated badly.....Thanks for sharing.

Yes I would get bigger tank too If I were him. But I guess he wouldnt bother anymore since he has been keeping fish for almost all of his life. That is the last monster that has been with him ever since, others such as gars and rtc are all given away. And yes, it's even older than his daughter, so you should know how much he care for the fish.
