So was at my uncles house for a party and I haven't checked his pond/breeding stock containers in a while.. Boy was I surprised. Guess MFKers run in the family lol. His pond is at least 14' long, 4' deep and 5' wide. There had to be at least 30-50 Koi of all different colors and sizes. I don't know squat about koi but my uncle's been importing some of these from Japan for a while hoping to develop a strain of his own. Anyway, Enjoy the pictures.
*I didn't take pics of his stock tanks filled with baby koi cause it got pretty late to get some decent pictures.
I think my uncle was going to cull some of these.
I remember this guy being in his pond for at least 5+ years. My uncle measured him a few weeks ago and he came in at 29.5". What a beast.
I also remember this guy from a year ago when he was about 4" long. My uncle was about to cull him but hoped his orange spot would go away. From the pics, I guess that didn't happen lol.
