Hello everyone! It has been over 5 years since I last posted anything here. It has been that long since my wife passed…I gave away all my tanks. I’m slowly getting back into the hobb you. It gives me peace🙏

Started this high tech 60 gallon cube 4 months ago:

Today:

Started this low tech 14 gallon cube below last week. Will make this a shrimp tank. While it’s cycling, thought I’d experiment tying stem plants (rotala rotundifolia) onto driftwood to create a tree.

Awesome scape, I just started back myself. Picked up a 125g and have it planted now, are you running any Co2? That’s amazing growth in 4 months

Not exactly monster fishes but growing out a few L144 longfins for future breeding with the shrimps.

At age 50, it’s all about tranquility in life and watching critters and plants thrive in an ecosystem I created is very relaxing 😊
