Very cool. What's growing from the top? My plant ID isn't very good...

Thank you! It is dwarf water lettuce. best floating plant ever.

Sweet! I'm kinda looking into what plant life I wanna add in 1 of my 2 upcoming 125 gallon tanks. Wife's tank is gonna be sand and wood/roots with red severum, rotkeil severum, red humped geos, denison barbs and maybe another schooling tetra. Anyways, I was thinking about doing a few floating plants and anubis on some of the roots.

Awesome tank. You always put so much into Aquascaping and biotope stocking I really admire your setups.

Only suggestion is ken brought in 10 more saxatilis. I'd snag one of the opposite gender and try and get a pair going. Otherwise looks great. Balzani and labiatus are my fav gymnos probably

Get some dwarf water lettuce. Holds up well with tank lighting and is very prolific.

I'll have to look into it. Thanks for the comment. I really enjoy aquascaping. It adds anot her element to the aquarium. It's like a Lego set with no instructions.
