my used to be barred midas

I bought him about 2 weeks ago. He was about 4" he was completely barred when I bought him. I really wanted a barred midas but now he is changing. I'm going to stick with him. He has some pretty intresting color patterns. here two pictures the first is from 6/1/07 the second is from 6/3/07.

I think he will end up being pretty cool looking, and he has a great personality too. What do you guys think?

Both of my barred midas have changed colour.

unless you bought him from a recognized breeder, all fish store RD's you see that are barred will eventually fade

he'll probably go through a few more changes but he's looking pretty wild right now

I knew the rd/midas would go through color changes at some point. He was in a tank with other rd/midas all around the same size and they were all the normal oragnes and whites. This guy was completely barred, so I was hoping it would stick. It didn't, but I still got an awesome fish.
