ThanksNice Abroinia! I had a pair A. graminea that I bought last year but I had a carbon monoxide leak in my basement and I lost them along with a few other herps over the winter.
Abronia Graminea/ Mexican arboreal alligator lizardsWhat are those green lizards called?
Yeah I'm not a huge fan of keeping abronia as their very fragile and very high maintenance to keep healthy, the babies being even more difficult than the adults. There are quite a few individuals working with abronia, and many are having quite good success establishing captive breeding groups. Only problem is that demand for them is getting higher and the poaching of adults from the wild is getting out of control.Very nice, I wish you luck in further breeding, the genus needs it.
I agree. At a local show there were at least a dozen adult graminea and a handful of babies. A few individuals of other species as well.Yeah I'm not a huge fan of keeping abronia as their very fragile and very high maintenance to keep healthy, the babies being even more difficult than the adults.
