So i just changed the wood in my soon to be discus tank i think its quite epic what does mfk think. I will place it better once it sinks properly.

nice start, but to me it's a little too uniform. for a more natural look, try leaning some or even laying a branch on it's side. you might also mix some thicker branches. took me quit a while before I was happy with my setup.

I think it would look better if you dedicated the entire tank to that style and stocked it accordingly.

Yeah im kind of thinking the same thing its very tempting, not sure yet though

I like the look but I think the Discus will not be able move through the branches very easily.

you would be surprised at what they can get thru. nature made them skinny for that very reason. my wilds will lay flat to go under a branch when it could just go over it. they love playing in it. it's something that the bare tank owners never see.
